Pledging support to global well-being

Eliminate Dengue has announced its support of the global goals for sustainable development.

In September 2015, the United Nations introduced a set of 17 sustainable development goals. These goals seek to spark action over the next 15 years in areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet.

At Eliminate Dengue, we have pledged our support to Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. By 2030, world leaders hope to end the epidemics of dengue and other neglected tropical diseases.

Around the world, an estimated 390 million dengue infections occur every year and 2.5 billion people live in areas where they are at risk. Through our research we hope to significantly reduce the global burden of dengue and contribute to improving the well-being of millions of people worldwide.
