Changes in the genetic structure of Aedes aegypti (Diptera: Culicidae) populations in Queensland, Australia, across two seasons: implications for potential mosquito releases.

Journal of Medical Entomology 48:999-1007. doi: 10.1603/ME10264.

This paper describes how patterns of genetic isolation (reflecting movement) among populations of Aedes aegypti in North Queensland change over time and reinforces the notion that inland populations are likely to be isolated.
